The product is currently being reformulated and will now contain glycolic, as opposed to lactic acid.
Sunday Riley has said on the issue: "As we continue to grow and expand into different territories we must ensure that our products are compliant with the regulations set by these territories. Good Genes Lactic will conintue to exist while Good Genes Glycolic has been developed for the UK."
So there you have it, if you are wondering where Good Genes has gone (Space NK/Cult Beauty/Sephora FR currently out of stock until further notice) this is why.
What a huge shame for those of us who adored the original lactic acid formula. Sunday has told me it will still be available to buy in US Sephora's, and I'm not joking when I say it's worth a trip stateside just to stock up on this product.
For me nothing else quite compares. The glow this product gives the skin with or without any makeup is worth every penny and can not be replicated with any other product because it's a unique formulation.
As much as I understand and respect the reasons, it is incredibly disappointing.
